The NCLEX-RN results below represent the percentage of registered nurse students which passed the NCLEX-RN exam on the first attempt. Some graduate registered nurses may choose not to take the NCLEX examination within the first six months following graduation and are not included in these statistics. If the NCLEX pass rate is an important factor in your decision to attend a particular nursing program please consult with a school representative regarding their NCLEX results.

One of South Florida's leading colleges, South Florida Community College has greatly improved their NCLEX-RN passing rate over the last three years. The college has four different campuses and it offers a two-year nursing degree program which is fully accredited by the Florida Board of Nursing. The passing rate for the NCLEX-RN state examination has been 78.26% in 2004 when 26 graduates have challenged the licensing test and 18 have successfully passed the examination.
In 2005 the passing rate climbed to 94.44% with 17 out of 18 students obtaining their registered nurse license. The 2006 results have been remarkable, with all 17 students passing the test and thus achieving a 100% NCLEX-RN passing rate. In addition to the two-year nursing program offered to students who do not have a nursing license, the college offers a one-year, LPN to RN program for practical nurses who wish to become registered nurses. Graduates of the LPN to RN program complete 72 semester hours after which they are eligible to challenge the NCLEX-RN examination and obtain a registered nurse license in the state of Florida.
